Elmar the Elephant

For those that love the stories for the extraordinary patchwork elephant Elmar – make a patchwork elephant out of an empty plastic can with a handle.

• Cut the plastic can with a paper knife.
• Turn the can upside down.
• Cut two semicircles as shown on the picture to shape the legs.
• Twist the pieces that you have just cut and you already have the ears.

Cover the can with a primer for easy painting. Use a permanent marker to shape the squares.

The funniest part is at the end (specially for the kids ) – to paint the squares in different colors.
