Bread-Boats
For the bread-boats, shown to us by Iva, Dari and Vyara (The Land Beyond the Rainbow) you need:
- Cream cheese or soft curds for spreading seasoned with herbs – rosemary, thymes and olives.
- Cherry potatoes
- Pepper
- Pickles
- Round bread
- Carrot
- 4 wooden sticks
Cut the bread into two and take the curved half to make the hull of the ship.
Spread the curds on top of the bread. Cut the pepper into discs which to be used as the ship’s rudder.
Cut the cheese or ham squares diagonally to make triangles. After that spike them on the wooden sticks.
Make the ham triangles smaller than the the cheese ones. This makes the boat more spectacular.
Cut a slice of cucumber to make the flag. If you don’t have a cucumber flag you can make one from paper.
