Ivelin Yordanov and and his six-year old Nikola have sent us their idea in pictures – how to make an elephant from а crumpled paper.

Elephant - crumpled paper and aluminum foil

You need:

  • Paper – you can use and paper that you don’t need
  • Paper tape
  • Aluminum foil
  • A piece of cable or wire – for the trunk
  • Electric silicone gun /you can use PVA glue too/

Elephant - crumpled paper and aluminum foil Crumple a piece of paper to make the body and the head of the elephant. Tighten them with the paper tape. Roll the paper for the legs. Wrap paper around a piece of cable or wire to make the trunk and the tail. Cut the ears from cardboard paper.

Glue the legs, trunk, tail and ears with hot silicone. Cover the entire elephant with aluminum foil. Instead of foil you can use colored paper.
