You can easily make a loom out of cardboard and to weave such dolls on it. It better if you use thicker yarn, but if you don’t have at your disposal, you can do what we did – double or triple the threads in the yarn.

You will need a rectangular piece of cardboard paper. Bend the two ends and make four cuts with scissors on both sides.

Make the base of the loom, putting the threads in the cuts.

Start to weave – first put the thread above and then below the base.

Tie every thread to the preceding one.

To make the legs – start to weave on just two of the threads of the base. Thus you will make the first leg.

For the second leg, put a new yarn and again weave on the other two threads of the base. At the end tie to be sure that the figure will stay intact.

To make the hands – put additional thread on both sides and make nods.

When you are ready – cut the base from behind and tie the threads.
