Glove MONSTERS
Make a jolly monster from a single glove (if you happen to have lost the other one). It takes about 30-40 minutes.
Cut the fingers with a scissor as shown. Turn the glove inside out and sew the resulting appertures. Turn the glove inside out again and fill well with cotton wool.
Before you close the lower part, fold up some of the elastic (to make the shoes). Sew a line in the middle to make the feet.
The pictures show you how to make the tail which will also serve to hold the toy standing. You can make it from the “chopped” thumb. Stuff it well with cotton to be able to hold the body. Close it with a needle and thread and after that tie it to the rear part of the body.
Use the two middle fingers to make the hands. You can fill them with a bit of cotton and then close them off with needle and thread. Before you attach them to the body, tuck in the seam (as shown) so the end result would be more satisfying.
Add buttons to make the eyes and some beads for a mouth.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I have 3 small boys who are always losing gloves. This will be fun for me and I’m sure they will have fun tossing them around! Thank you!
