Clay heart for colouring
Here we used air drying modeling clay. My participation in the process was very little – I just made the thicker frame of the heart. My little son rolled and placed the thin ribbons at the frame himself. When we were ready “knitting” the heart, we used a sharp object to pin the ribbons to the frame. Thus, when the clay dries out they will stay firm.
It took several hours for the heart to become ready for colouring with water colour paints.
The final result was fantastic!
