Easy, quite productive and pleasant occupation, both for the small and bigger kids. There are a few flaws…. it is a dirty job and it takes time for the prints to dry up.

We used acrylic paints, but tempera would be OK too. Be sure to chose well covering and easy to lay on the paper paint.

  1. Fold a sheet of paper into two parts.
  2. Apply the paint on the one half and then close the other.
  3. Press with your fingers, trying to push the paint towards the middle and not outside.
  4. Open the paper – the result is always awesome:)

When the prints dry up, make a mount from a matching paper. Use pencils or colouring felt-pens to decorate it.
