Coloured patters on hankies

A pleasant way for the kids to pass their time in the summer – painting on paper tissues with aquarelle watercolours.

We saw the idea a marvellous book by Fiut Publishing House – “Artistic ideas and projects”First, put the hankies in water and then drain the water from them.

Colour the handkerchiefs when they are folded. To be sure that the pain reaches all the layers – when you apply the colour on the one side, turn the hankie and apply the same colour on the other side as well.

The most difficult part is the opening of the wet handkerchief and putting in on a suitable place to dry. Sometimes you may tear it, but don’t worry, when it dries up it gets hard and the torn piece is hard to spot.
