A rocking wooden horse for the year of the HORSE – 2014
According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2014 is the Year of the Horse. It starts on January 31. In Chinese culture, the horse is a symbol of nobility, class, speed and perseverance.
To make these paper rocking horses, we used a few coloured sheets of paper, a template and a felt-tip-pen. That’s all:)
We were drawing on the templates various simple elements like dots, lines and wavelike curves just in one colour.
The saddle serves as a “key”, which fastens the two parts of the horse without the need of any glue:)
You can write wishes on the one side.
