Let’s make a caterpillar from chestnuts
It was very funny with the caterpillar in the back yard. A few days ago the kids had gathered a full bag of chestnuts, so we had to figure what to do with them.
It took me less than 10 minutes to bore holes in the chestnuts with a cork opener (what a great discovery), without even breaking a single one. I strung them on a strong thread and at the end put the eyes – this final touch which brings life to a toy.
