SCRATCHING ART Technique
Тhis is called sgrafitto, or scratching technique. You start by preparing the ‘board’ you’ll be scratching from.
- Cover a sheet of paper (cardboard is better) densely with wax crayons.
- Add three layers of black tempera paint. Wait for the paint to dry well between layers.
- Leave the paper to dry very well for a few hours.
- Scratch your drawing with the end of the brush or a lolly stick.
