We made a pony to ride at home. It’s a unicorn pony,  as it has a horn and a pink mane. We decorated it with hairpins. It was easy to make – it only took me 20-30 minutes until my daughter could fly on her pink pony. We printed out the head template twice. We cut the templates and glued them on kitchen towels (as we didn’t have any other suitable fabric).

We stitched the two parts together, leaving the lower part open to insert a broomstick or a spade handle. We used yarn for the mane and buttons for the eyes. We drew the mouth with a felt-tip pen. Horse head template
