HOMEMADE PLAYDOUGH Recipe

See all the beautiful things the kids made in the city park. The craft table organized by our friends from Ri-Ri-Ra turned into a real toy workshop.

It turned out that many people wanted to know how to make homemade plasticine. That’s why we decided to post step-by-step instructions for making this fabulous material. Here’s the recipe :

• 1 cup flour
• 1/4 cup salt
• 2 sachets cream of tartar
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 cup water
• 2 juice powder packs (STEP. etc.). They make the plasticine not only colorful, but aromatic as well! (You can use egg dyes or food coloring, too) 🙂

Put everything on low heat and stir until the mixture thickens. Sprinkle some more flour to take it off the pot and knead it with your hands. Add flour until it stops sticking to your fingers and starts resembling real plasticine (albeit softer). Keep in a box or a plastic bag to prevent it from drying.
