Coconut MINIGARDEN

After my daughter satisfied her curiosity and tried a coconut, we found a good use for the nut’s shell by making a miniature garden. I had the idea from the very beginning so I cut the nut carefully with a knife. Then we went to the florist’s to choose some cacti, we bought potting soil and started planting. We put a few pebbles at the bottom and laid the potting mix on top. We got a beautiful little garden for the kids’ room. The problem is that it doesn’t need much watering… and kids just love doing that. We will be planting spring bulbs again soon.
