Child’s Drawing DOLLS
After I visited some well-stocked art supply stores, I quickly gave up the idea for making these dolls with special fabric markers 🙂 We made them with ordinary markers, fully aware that they will smudge with time, but it didn’t matter. We had a few fabric crayons left but ordinary wax crayons should work, too, especially if you don’t press too much.
I cut some pieces of plain cotton fabric and I used sticky tape to attach them on a harder base. Then I showed my daughter what we would be doing exactly and she loved the idea. She drew a cat, her Daddy, some butterflies and princesses … I just went over the contours once again to make them stand out. She didn’t leave me alone until I cut, stitched and stuffed the dolls with cotton wool 🙂
