Pencil Crafts – 3D Butterflies
Are you wondering what to do with all the little pencils after they are no longer good for drawing – or after your kid filled her pockets at your last trip to IKEA? We suggest you make some BUTTERFLIES.
Тhis time we combined making symmetrical shapes (symmetry) with our desire to hasten the arrival of spring.
Divide an A4 sheet of paper into 4 equal parts to make 4 butterflies. Fold each one in half. Lay some watercolor paints on one half and press the two parts together. When we opened the paper, we could see the second wing of our butterfly was colored, too. We cut the paper into a butterfly shape and we snipped the fold just enough to drive the pencil through.
