🙂 It’s tiny, and it will be beautiful for 10 days only. But it’s worth the experiment. 

You can use carrots, radishes, turnips or beetroot. Cut the upper part and place it on a plate over a well-watered napkin.  It’s best if there are some leaves on the top, even if they are dry… At least our experience shows that this makes the new leaves grow faster.

Water your garden every day. Put it in a warm and sunny place. In a few days you will notice the first sprouting leaves. 

Why does this happen? Rutabaga plants store nutrients in their top part. If you water them every day, they will not make new roots but they might feed a handful of leaves.
