We hung them in the corridor, but…

First we glued the stencils on thicker cardboard. Then we cut them out and attached them to the canvas.

We used a kitchen sponge and some tempera paints to color the cutout space, making sure the ends were well covered. When the pictures were dry, we removed the stencils and added an eye to each animal.
