Kid’s Room Decor – BUTTON FISH

What’s so special about this picture? Take a closer look at the materials. They are kitchen towels of different colors and textures (each supermarkets stocks a variety of them) and many colorful buttons. You can also use felt sheets – they are much more beautiful.

Besides coming in all sorts of pretty colors, kitchen towels can easily be cut and attached with regular office glue. When we arranged the parts together, we sewed the buttons on to make a beautiful ocean-themed picture. We bought the frame at a dollar store. We left the glass out because the buttons would get in the way – and because it would conceal the different textures of the materials we used.
