From the CHESTNUTS in the Park
While we were walking the dog in the park, we started collecting chestnuts. They are still quite small, but they are big enough for autumn crafts (there are only chestnuts in our park, but you can find acorns, too, if you go to the Borissova garden).
With a few matchsticks and a sharp object to pierce the chestnuts we made these merry animals. And a little bit of tempera paint really brought them to life. 🙂
To make your new toys last longer, put a little bit of glue between the matchsticks and the chestnuts.
