We borrowed the box idea from Sue Nicholson’s Great Big Art Activity Book  but we changed things a little bit (as we always do). We printed the fish and the other sea creatures from  КRОКОТАК, we colored them, glued them on thicker cardboard and hung them on a string.

This is a difficult but very pleasant project, and the end result is quite impressive.

Prepare a big shoe box by painting the inside in tempera paints (shades of blue mostly).

След това рrint out  pictures of various sea animals and color them. Some of the pictures in KROKOTAK are bigger, so we decided to change the printer settings to landscape and then click ‘fit to size’ 🙂 Glue the pictures on cardboard and cut them out.

To make the ocean floor sand, use oatflakes and a good quantity of PVA glue to keep them in place.

Tie each picture on a piece of thread and use a needle to attach it to the ceiling of the box.
