This wonderful little felt horse can stand upright. It’s also very easy to sew from some felt (or other fabric) and thin yarn. Fill it with cotton wool or pillow stuffing. It took me about an hour to cut and sew the parts together. We spent more time thinking up decorations – because we made two horses, a blue one for Andrey and a pink one for his big sister. You can use the same pattern to make unicorns, Pegasus, ponies and all kinds of horse species 🙂

Print out the horse template. You will need each part twice. The outline marks the sewing line, not the cutting line, so you may need to cut outside it.

You will need 2 A4 sheets of paper,

thin yarn and a large needle.
