Decorative VASE
Cooking is not my passion, but we could still find enough material at home to decorate these beautiful vases. We eveb made the plasticine we covered them with – it only took us 5 minutes. The recipe is: 1 cup flour, 1/4 cups salt, 2 sachets cream of tartar, 1 tsp of vegetable oil and some food coloring, diluted in 1 cup of water. Put everything on low heat and stir well until the mixture thickens. Add some more flour to take it out of the pot and knead it, then some more until its texture resembles real plasticine (just a little bit softer). Keep it in a box or a plastic bag so it wouldn’t dry out. It can last for more than a month.
After you roll it around some glass container, you can start decorating immediately. This vase is not particularly durable, but it will last long enough for a bouquet.
