Cut-Out SUN

This beautiful sun is very easy to make; even the youngest children can participate.

You will need: colored paper, a punch-hole, a pair of scissors and some glue.

Prepare a circle by perforating holes along the edge. Cut out long triangles of colored paper. Let the children run the tapered end of each strip through one of the holes. When all the holes are full, add eyes and a mouth.

The folding and gluing develop the fine motor skills of the child. If the child is older, you can also allow him to do the cutting.
