Heart Garland
I found the idea at marthastewart.com, but I don’t think you actually need to print out templates. Hearts are so easy to cut out from a folded sheet of paper. Here’s how:
Cut sets of three hearts in different colors. To make a garland, snip every second heart and link it to the neighboring two. Alternate colors and sizes. Close the snips with sticky tape at the back. As the hearts looked a little boring to me, I made a ‘running stitch’ with a piece of yarn and was quite pleased with the results. (Three A4 sheets of paper were enough for a 1.5 m long garland).
