Pumpkin Candleholder

This butternut squash was magically transformed into a candleholder. Before you buy, make sure that the one you have chosen can stand upright.

Bubble, bubble, steam and smolder, turn into a candleholder!

We made the hat out of black crepe paper and tied it with a ribbon.

First we drew the eyes and the mouth in pencil. Simple shapes with no curves are easier to cut.

We cut the base of the squash and cleaned away the seeds. Now we had a place to put the candle in.

To make our candleholder even scarier, we finished-off its decoration in permanent marker.
