To make this beautiful tree, you need to prepare some dried leaves (you may dry them with a household iron) and a pretty branch to hang the leaf prints on.
Don’t forget to tie an apron on your kid and to cover the working table well – this craft is lots of fun, but it’s also very messy 🙂
Make tempera paint prints.
When the leaf prints are dry (make no more than two prints from every leaf), cut them out, leavings some space along the outline. It’s best to make the prints on sketchpad paper as it’s thicker than printer paper.
Now you can hang your leafprints from the branch with masking tape.
And here are the colored leaves we used. They are beautiful, too!
