Child’s Drawing DOLLS
After I visited some well-stocked art supply stores, I quickly gave up the idea for making these dolls with special fabric markers We made them with ordinary markers, fully aware that they will smudge with time, but it didn’t matter. We had a few fabric crayons left but ordinary wax crayons should work, too, especially if you don’t press too much.
I cut some pieces of plain cotton fabric and I used sticky tape to attach them on a harder base. Then I showed my daughter what we would be doing exactly and she loved the idea. She drew a cat, her Daddy, some butterflies and princesses … I just went over the contours once again to make them stand out. She didn’t leave me alone until I cut, stitched and stuffed the dolls with cotton wool
