Dried autumn leaves often break even before we had the chance to use them.
That’s why we’d like to show you a method for making them last longer.
Coat them with melted wax! Even if they are not completely dry, they will become more elastic and harder to break while you’re working with them. Well-dried leaves remain the same, and the not-so-dry ones wrinkle a little after you cover them with the wax.
Melt a couple of plain white candles in an old pot, on very low heat. When the wax has melted, dip the leaves, making sure you cover them well from both sides. That’s it 🙂
