FALL STARS from Chestnut Leaf Stalks
NATURE CRAFTS FALL DECORATIONS
Тhis is a good excuse to take the kids for a walk in the park. They will have an important task – collecting chestnut leaf stalks.
We only used the dry stalks from chestnut leaves and we made ourselves some stars! We tied them with paper wire, but rubber bands or some kind of thread will do, too.
You will need 10 dry stalks of equal length to make each star.
When you’re tying them together, make sure to crisscross them so that one stalk goes above the intersecting ‘beam’ and the other one goes below it. That way you won’t need anything else to keep them together.
We finished by decorating the stars with other natural materials we had collected.
